Associate Principal (x 2) 

5MU + special duties allowance, Full Time, Permanent

Due to the current and future expected growth of the school, we are seeking two APs to join the leadership team in leading and managing Oaklynn school. The AP will work alongside the DP in either the Junior or Senior (satellite) areas of the school. Oaklynn has an embedded coaching culture with strong social justice values. We require applicants who are flexible, innovative and reflective practitioners. Applicants must have a good understanding of special education pedagogy, a proven history of leading and managing others and have proven experience in coaching and mentoring. 

Position commences the start of the year 2020 or negotiated start date. The position will begin with some days in class as a transition towards full-time release.

Teacher, Scale A

Full Time, Permanent

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for supporting students with profound multiple learning difficulties at our Base School site. Such an applicant should have some knowledge and willingness to undertake sensory based programmes and Intensive Interaction as key teaching elements. Base School is a vibrant progressive environment with a focus on good collaborative practice amongst the other four teachers with classrooms on site. The Arts are used to support our students to develop fundamental communication and social skills. Oaklynn has an embedded coaching culture with strong social justice values, opportunities for professional development and offers teachers autonomy to develop and try out a range of pedagogical approaches and ideas.

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for supporting students with Autism and complex learning difficulties for one of our satellite classes. Such an applicant should have some knowledge or willingness to learn the specialist pedagogies to work with students and develop their fundamental communication and social skills. Oaklynn has an embedded coaching culture with strong social justice values, opportunities for professional development and offers teachers autonomy to develop and try out a range of pedagogical approaches and ideas.
