There are many services and agencies available. The following are some key contacts that will provide you with the knowledge and supports to help you and your family/whānau.
Disability Connect is a Disability Information Advisory Service. They run workshops, information sessions and connect to many support groups. It is well worth signing up for their newsletter.
Kaikaranga (used to be called Taikura Trust)
Provide the Needs Assessment Service Coordination, which determines the funding available for you.
Ministry of Social Development (MSD)
Contact MSD for disability support services, Child Disability Allowance, Community Services Card, Disability Allowance etc.

This guide lets you known about the range of help available for people who care for and support family, whānau, āiga or friends with a disability.
